Textural Art

We always have an eclectic collection of fabulous art in the gallery. This week we are exploring texture and depth.

It’s hard to find more oil used as liberally in an impasto style by Mitchell Cheesman. The deliciousness oozing in all directions, abstract contours hinting at the subject matter, there is so much to indulge in.

Be mesmersized by the of works of Ben Hedström, the master of oils and palette knives, carefully crafted evocative landscapes whilst capturing the essence of movement, light and texture, drawing us into the depths of his paintings.

With a completely minimalistic approach, June Sartracom evokes depth through shadows and three dimensional shapes, reductive and non-objective. The works are cleverly constructed and beautifully interactive.

Whatever your pleasure is, these works are intriguing and often so tempting to touch!! Enjoy and have a great weekend ahead…

If you are in town don’t forget to join us at the Affordable Art Fair Sydney, 15 – 18 June.
