The G Contemporary started the journey in a 100 year old Queenslander in the Noosa hinterland. The gallery quickly established a strong reputation for showcasing contemporary two dimensional artists alongside a strong body of ceramicists and bronze sculptors.

For many years the Directors have been involved in international art fairs, promoting artists to a wider audience mainly in Asia, whilst also working closely with local clients in Australia on an art consultancy basis. The Directors increased the diversity of artist collaborations made possible by extensive national and international networking. Significant time has also been spent supporting young emerging Australian artists through mentorship and introduction to clients and other establishments. This has led the gallery to have a robust reputation in art advice and sales by installing confidence in the art market for both artists and the client base.

As the journey of the gallery continues, the Directors strategically work in innovative ways with their chosen artists to succeed in the ever evolving art scene both in Australia and overseas. In 2020 the gallery pivoted into a contemporary space in the heart of Noosa on the iconic Hastings Street. The G Contemporary has a robust reputation in sourcing contemporary art, providing art advice. The Directors provide strong curatorial exhibitions with the aim of introducing exciting relevant works to their audiences.

Art appreciation has become a conduit of conversation as well as enhancing the spaces in which we find ourselves in. The motivation to introduce an eclectic collection by dedicated artists to global citizens comes from a strong belief that art can provide pleasure and culture in so many ways.
