‘Return To Forever’ Exhibition Opening Night by MICHAEL WHITEHEAD

On Saturday night, we held a fabulous reception to celebrate the opening of Sunshine Coast artist, Michael Whitehead’s Return To Forever exhibition and new collection. With the artist in attendance, it was a great opportunity to hear of his process and his relationship to his works. “For me, it’s all about cycles of ideas that lead to creative output. Sometimes a single idea can expand into a broad range of imagery, while other times a particular theme may only go a short distance. I just keep trying to evolve the paintings so that things don’t become formulaic or contrived.” Michael Whitehead 2026 Return To Forever is showing until Sunday 18 October.
