Did you see the total lunar eclipse on Sunday the 7th?

A rare blood moon and total lunar eclipse took place over the weekend as the earth passed between the sun and the moon. Witnessing it has a wondrous impression – and it has, no doubt, inspired for centuries.

Since the earliest known civilisations, circles have been drawn and painted. Circular motifs in art have represented abstract concepts like wholeness, astronomical bodies like the sun or moon, and the cyclical nature of life.
