We have been admiring the work of local artist Christopher Phillips for some time and are delighted to announce a new collaboration.

With a strong background as a successful commercial graphic artist and photographer, Christopher has worked for companies such as SBS, L’Oréal, Vogue Living, Marie Claire, The London Symphony Orchestra and later working as an Art Director for Google. During this period Christopher has continued to hone his painting skills at the Barcelona Academy of Art in Spain as well as exhibiting in London, Sydney and Melbourne in more recent times.

The body of work hanging in the gallery considers the analysis and exploration of human interactions, both internally and externally, within the environment, whether natural or man-made. The forms are beautifully simple, whilst the paintings suggest a complexity of interaction. These paintings are for pondering and considering in detail.
