It’s always a fabulous day when spending quality time with Mitchell, curating, hanging, listening to music and hearing the stories behind the works. “Wherever I go, alone or not, I will sit and draw and gather my surroundings, collecting everything I feel and marking it into the blank page, real landscapes reimagined. Nature is the only reason I can paint, it is the subject. Collecting small parts of nature and placing them together on a surface, is why the paintings appear the way they do.
