New Collaboration with Italian-Australian Visual Artist Daniele Avanzini
We are absolutely delighted to share with you a new collaboration with the incredibly talented Italian-Australian visual artist,
Daniele Avanzini, whose work navigates the intersection of classical tradition and contemporary experimentation. Rooted in a deep appreciation for Surrealism, Impressionism, the Baroque era, and Abstract Realism, his practice explores themes of memory, identity, and the subconscious.
Working primarily in oil, mixed media and charcoal, Avanzini creates immersive, emotionally charged compositions that blend technical mastery with expressive abstraction. Be prepared to be taken on a journey of a lifetime, where fantasy merges with realism, nature blends with imagined mythology, and opulence and domesticity combine and unite in a captivating surrealist story of epic grandeur.
When we first met Daniele, he took us through his portfolio, including wonderful charcoal drawings and contemporary realism. It was, however, the concept of the surreal “eleven room” collection that totally captured our imagination, aptly named
“Rooms of Perception”.
“Room n. XI was the first painting to be painted in order to commit totally to the series as a whole”, Daniele explains.
“Next was Room n. II, which was immediately snapped up by a collector”.
We are delighted to share the next three paintings in the collection with you. Hopefully, you will be able to seek out your perfect room number…
