Opening Night ‘Echoes’ by Queensland Ceramicist Dai Li

It’s been a great week at The G Contemporary as we opened Dai Li’s Echoes, celebrating the collection and the milestone of it being her 20th solo exhibition. Running until the 16 July, it features over 20 new ceramics with her signature charm and delicate expressions. On Saturday evening, Dai Li joined guests, friends and collectors for her official opening reception. Dai Li shared insights into her process and inspiration: “having worked with stoneware for many years, the physical making process has become like muscle memory; yet the true work remains the journey of inspiration travelling from the brain, down through the hands, and into the raw clay.” Thank you all for coming to another fabulous exhibition opening, and congratulations to Dai Li. Echoes is showing at The G Contemporary, Hastings Street, Noosa Heads, until Thursday, 16 July.
