Brandi Hughes is a multidisciplinary fine art painter based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, she relocated to Australia in 2014. Hughes has produced and sold her work commercially since 2016 and transitioned to a full-time fine art practice in 2023. She has been selected as a finalist in several art prizes and has developed ongoing relationships with galleries in Sydney and Noosa. Her work has been featured in ART EDIT magazine and the Sunshine Coast Council’s Arts Coast project. Her current practice explores motherhood through bold, colour driven still life, capturing the intersection of memory, play, and the evolving identity of the artist-mother.
