Dai Li’s ‘Sketches’ Solo Exhibition Now Open
Yesterday was a day of torrential rain and the perfect day to re design the layout of the gallery and carefully curate the new stunning works by Sunshine Coast ceramicist, Dai Li. Definitely an uplifting show to bring a smile to your face.
“My ceramic works often express fleeting, repetitive moments in life.
However, unlike portraits and caricatures, I regard my ceramics as fictional. They are not you or me, or anyone we know, but they may contain qualities you and I are familiar with. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.”
